The "AK-16" M-16 / AK-47 Hybrid 

Firearm enthusiast Steve Lee shows us a video of a unique firearm, the "AK-16".  This is a .22lr rifle that looks quite interesting.  It looks like Steve had a lot of fun shooting it.  I don't know if you'll see this rifle on the shelves of your local fun store any time soon though.  Perhaps some of you builders will give this a shot.  Now if only .22lr ammo were available.

This is a story of a guy who wanted to get  his uncle a gift to honor him and his service in Vietnam.  His uncle carried an M-16 for his first several months there and then an M-14 for the remainder of  his time in country. He was there from May 1967 to May 1968 (through Tet).  When he asked his uncle which rifle he most trusted during his tour of duty he replied, "The AK-47".
